Zoom Trails

with the clouds loomin' and the idea of doing a mr. roger's sneaker swap at the office, i decided to simply just rock trail kicks for you ACG fans. below is the nike humara in their original colorway. nike introduced a ton of retro colors following these originals including some funky hybrid versions that in my opinion look hella ugly. if you're down with trail sneaks, you'll like deez wuns or the 'terra' humaras. full zoom air bottoms and waterproof upper. retro versions didn't have the nylon checkered webbing on the soles. peep out the matching swoosh socks son!!!

i guess great minds think alike. i decided to wear one of my air max holy grails here. the shima shima (stripes in japanese) 2's came out in 2002/2003 and was a europe/canada release. i happened to be in the same area as imanifest back at the time... and completely slept on them. plus i was broke. fast forward 5 years later and with the help of shonuff's amazing ebay skills, i was able to reunite with these bad boys. thinking back on it... these shoes single handedly gave me this incurable shoe addiction.

a couple of years ago i was steppin through shops in vancouver, bc when i came across these polka dot joints in the nike store on robson st. if you ever get a chance to peep this shop, they have a sneaker lifestyle section upstairs in the back. these are the air max 1 premiums. they had only one pair left and they were my size..."i'll take 'em dun!"- imanifest

wassup fresh friday sneaker fiends. i've been noticing all the jordans, cats be stuntin' on our blog and i gotta say they're hella fresh, but i figure its about time to change the game to rare runnin' sneaks. with the exception of the proliferation of the retro 95's, many of nike's original air and zoom rubber have only had one retro release. don't get it twisted, its hard for them hong kong replicating factories to make these joints. get your zoom on kid!

feast your eyes on these kicks. these were designed to represent the cherry blossoms in ueno park in tokyo during spring. it's made up of 3m material and has a lot of details around the outer heel and tongue. i think the best part of the shoe is the translucent pink outsoles. for a better picture of the shoe check out hypebeast's article.
